7 Planets in Aries Activate a New Path Forward
Apr 15, 2026
When planets and asteroids move into Aries, they initiate the beginning of a new cycle. Having 6 planets and the asteroid, Chiron, in Aries all at once, is a total reset moment that moves us into activation! ...It's finally go time!!
This call to action says we must start before we have all the answers about where we are going or how we will get there. This fresh energy welcomes us to be a wayfinder, discovering and responding to what emerges in each moment.
The requirement to do that is rooted in trust. Trust in your ability to meet the moment regardless of whatever it asks of you. Trust in your instincts and skills. Trust in life that it will provide what is needed to continue on.
The Background Story
But we need to place this part of the story into context so that we don't misunderstand this moment.
Pluto in Aquarius is the backbone of our storyline as it holds steady in Aquarius. This placement shows us that what is ripe for evolutionary transformation will require an expansion of our nervous system’s capacity to hold greater complexity. We are invited (maybe forcefully) to break free of our collective narratives and societal beliefs around what is possible. There is a deep-seated need to break free from the frequency of elitism, hierarchy, and the limitations of normalcy. The collective consciousness is being purged and restructured, as we contend with systematic trauma.
The rage that may swell up in you now helps you break free from accepting these histories as norms in your future.
The ruler of Aquarius, Uranus, is in its final degree of Taurus with just 10 days left of its 7-year transit. Uranus liberates through sudden, shocking events. While it was in Taurus (since 2018), it may have felt like you lost trust that the ground would support you, as metaphoric and literal earthquakes shook what you relied on for your survival. The things that you thought were real or steady began to unravel, becoming filled with uncertainty.
Uranus is approaching a square with the nodes, which will be a highlighted energy of the coming months. (We'll be writing about that soon!) That mutable square will be poking holes in our personal narratives to be re-examined and renarrated in order to discern what is true and real.
But before we get there, we are reminded that self-love must include an expanded understanding of Self.
The ruler of Taurus, Venus, is also currently in Taurus, reminding us that we are the earth, we are nature. We are embedded in our ecological systems, not just the human world. Liberating a new story must include a shift in relationship with the land and our environment. We are not here to dominate or force ourselves upon our environment (or each other), but to shift in an interdependent relationship with it all as equals. To tend to our embodiment as stewards of this vessel and center our connectedness within all of life.
And that's an important reframe, given all these planets (and asteroids) in Aries, the sign of domination. ‘What is worth fighting for?’ becomes a transformative question while Neptune is in Aries. The Sun, Saturn, Mars, and Mercury are all beginning this new cycle together with the allyship of a higher connection beckoning us to remember our connection with what is beyond the material world.
We are propelled into action from this Neptunian dissolving of the boundary around the "I am," diffusing the individual with all of sentience, all of life, seen and unseen. This is a call to remember our interconnectedness. That our individual body is connected to larger and larger bodies.
This is the beginning of bringing the individuality that we have developed back into relationship with its primal integrity that provides it purpose with all of life. This helps each of us bear the load of this transformational era. There are forces larger and wiser than us, beyond our understanding, guiding this process of change.
Chiron is also in its last weeks of Aries. (It’s been here since 2018, as well.) Healing the primal wound of separation. The forgetting that life is relational. Healing is relational. This is a year where we are seeding a new infrastructure for life, one that considers generational impacts and the inheritance we leave to future generations.
This is a time to take action centered in our faith that we will figure it out along the way. That we can trust our instincts and our ability to iterate to meet the moment. Where we reorient to an expanded awareness of what 'family' and 'kin' mean, redistributing power amongst us all rather than concentrating it in the few.
That's the bigger story of what's getting reformulated, but how might you feel this in your daily life?
Wherever Aries sits in your chart is an area of life where this moment may ask you to move fast before you have all the answers, requiring you to root into faith that there is greater organization than we can see from our current dismal, collective state.
You may feel swallowed by rage; anxious, combative, and aggressive, with a need to defend yourself. This is a time to cultivate your 'Sacred No.' To claim your right to life and to be a crusader for all of life.
The pressure and intensity to act can be modulated with embodiment practices so that you can anchor that intensity into your whole being and expand your capacity to stay grounded under pressure, ensuring a more effective outcome of your will. (A ritual to do this is below.) Prayer and guidance from the unseen realms may speak to you in symbols, dreams, and signposts, helping you navigate as you reorient your life force and direction bringing your awareness to the miraculous that lives under the surface of our material world.
Building faith and self-trust is the medicine you can access and is the gift woven into this moment. Remember, we cannot build our trust muscle when what we want is given to us immediately. That space between the desire and the reception of our desire is the threshold that offers you the opportunity to cultivate your faith.
Our North Node in Pisces calls out to the rebellious few who can envision the coming collective healing even in the darkest of times to hold that lighthouse up for others to see and remember. The most radical thing you can do in this moment is to believe more goodness is possible than we can currently see coming from all of this.
Hold faith in yourself, hold faith in humanity, hold faith in the goodness of all life that is being called in at this new juncture. Self-initiate and heed the call of your soul for the journey of a lifetime ahead.
A Ritual to Turn Anger and Anxiety into Direction
Aries wants you to bypass the cognitive and be with the intensity that’s alive in the moment. This is especially helpful when the energy feels too big to sit with, which is likely this week.
Put on music that matches your state, not what you think you should feel.
Move your body without structure. That might look like:
Shaking
Swaying
Pacing
Dancing
Stomping
Hitting Pillows
Let sound come out, too. Not words, just noise.
Scream,
Grunt,
Sigh
Hum
Sing
or Yell into a pillow
The goal isn’t to look good. Let yourself go all out! Feel that wild, primal, raw energy space to move. Let the energy complete its cycle.
After a few minutes or whenever you feel complete, begin to slow your movement, eventually coming into stillness.
Then bring the fingertips of your right hand into your left armpit, leaving the thumb outside on your shoulder. Cross the left arm over the right, holding your right shoulder. Give yourself a deep hug, offering yourself supportive containment.
Now, inhale through the nose for five seconds, then slowly exhale for seven seconds to settle your system.
Internally narrate, “All feelings are welcome within me. I am here. You are safe to feel it all.”
Repeat this breath and inner narration for a few minutes until you settle.
You might cry, shake, or yawn. This is your nervous system recalibrating. This is how you expand your capacity. Let it happen!
Notice what’s changed.
